Kate Beckinsale’s Soccer Disappointment

The “˜Underworld’ star, who is currently working in the Big Apple, said that she had been taken aback when she and her family visited a local pub and found that only a few people were interested in the event, “The World Cup is very exciting. It’s all we’ve got (in England). I mean that’s it – it really is. We went here and watched it in a pub and I was expecting a huge crowd and there were like five people.”

Don’t feel bad Kate. As a hockey fan I can relate. However, maybe next time try standing outside the bar right before the game and I’m sure with those legs and that outfit on, you’ll have the place packed in no time with brand new soccer fans. Hell, you even got me wishing I was David Beckham. That way I can sleep with Victoria.
