Petra Nemcova is is to join the ranks of models with their own TV series after signing a deal to present a new reality show. The 27-year-old Czech supermodel will front The Petra Nemcova Project for American channel TLC in the summer. It is likely to hit UK screens soon after. Her show – billed as “grittier” than series such as America’s Next Top Model – will feature girls from around the world auditioning for a contract with a top New York agency.

Finally! A reality show worth watching! If you can’t take Tyra Banks and her second rate model wannabes on Top Model, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy Petra Nemcova‘s show. Now even if the series sucks and the talent is bad, at least you’ll get an hour a week of Petra and that’s not too bad. Since the show has yet to be filmed, I’d like to make a suggestion to the producers that the elimination process be done in lingerie, including Petra because her male fans would appreciate it. I just hope this doesn’t lead to Petra‘s own talk show and eventual tumble into madness.
